About me and my therapy practice
About Me
I’m Anna and I am helping women navigate breakups, relationship patterns, and emotional reconnection
Whether you're facing the end of a relationship, feeling stuck in repeating dynamics, or longing for a deeper connection with yourself, therapy offers space to reflect, understand, and heal.
I work with women who appear capable and composed on the outside—but feel confused, hurt, or emotionally lost inside. Together, we explore what’s happening beneath the surface, so you can move toward clarity, confidence, and stronger emotional grounding.
My Approach
My style is relational and humanistic, grounded in the belief that healing happens through connection — with others and with yourself. I aim to offer a therapeutic space that is warm, collaborative, and deeply respectful of your pace.
I draw from an integrative approach, including:
- Person-Centred therapy, which places your inner experience and emotional truth at the heart of our work
- Gestalt therapy, to support awareness of how you experience emotions in the present moment
- Transactional Analysis, to explore early-life scripts, roles, and the patterns that may shape your relationships today
- Creative work and dream exploration, to access unconscious material and inner meaning beyond words
- A relational, trauma-informed lens, to help you understand how your past continues to influence your present
Whether you're feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or uncertain, I will meet you with care, curiosity, and respect for your emotional world.
Who I Work With
I support women who are:
- Processing a breakup or the end of a meaningful relationship
- Struggling to find or stay in emotionally fulfilling relationships
- Caught in patterns of over-giving, self-silencing, or emotional burnout
- Navigating dating, relational anxiety, or fear of intimacy
- Wanting to rebuild confidence, self-worth, and emotional clarity
My Background
I am a UKCP-registered Psychotherapist trainee, currently completing the final 5th year of my MSc Humanistic Psychotherapy training at the Metanoia Institute in London. I have over three years of experience working with clients across various services, including:
- Metanoia Counselling and Psychotherapy Service
- Epsom Counselling Service
- The Awareness Centre in Clapham
- Riverside Pathway Project in Pimlico, supporting individuals with complex mental health challenges such as schizophrenia and addictions.
Before training as a therapist, I worked in the finance sector in the City while raising my family, so I understand the pressures of balancing career, home life, and personal wellbeing.
Having lived between cultures (Eastern Europe, North Africa and the UK), I bring sensitivity to how identity, belonging, and early experiences shape our relationships — with others and with ourselves.
Ongoing Professional Development
I am committed to continuous personal and professional growth. I regularly attend further training and workshops, engage in supervision, and follow the UKCP Code of Ethics. Personal therapy and supervision are also vital parts of my practice, enriching both my personal and professional development.
What I Believe
You don’t have to carry your emotional pain alone.
Patterns can shift when we bring awareness and compassion to them
You are already enough — therapy is about helping you reconnect to that truth.
I am dedicated to anti-oppressive practices in my psychotherapy work, continually learning and growing. I have worked with neurodivergent, and LGBTQIA communities, aiming to provide support and create a safe, inclusive space for all intersectional identities.
